Thematic Mapping Through Computer Cartogarphy:

Using the PC ARC/INFO (Ver. 3.4.2.D), M11DRAW, dBASE IV, QuarttoPro and SPSS PC+ software packages, a series of maps were generated for the book entitled: Social Geography, 1999, by A. Ahmad, published by Rawat Publications, Jaipur (INDIA).

Socio-economic Primary Field Survey:

A Socio-economic Primary Field Survey was supervised of the M.A. (Pre.) students of the Department of Geography, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi. The field survey covered 33 per cent or nearly 500 households from all the four selected villages the Rojka Meo, Raiska, Agon and Raipur from the Mewat Region of the Gurgaon District, Haryana State, which was conducted during 26^th to 28^th October, 2001.

The International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) and International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) awarded the grants ($ 2,210) and (Rs. 10,000) respectively for research paper presentation and participation in the XIX^th ISPRS Congress Amsterdam 2000, held at Amsterdam Exhibition and Congress Centre, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and the Istanbul Technical University (ITU) together awarded the Registration, Accommodation and Allowance Grants of (US $ 892) for participation in the XX ISPRS Congress 2004, held at Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Centre, Istanbul, TURKEY.

The Royal Netherlands (Holland), Amsterdam was visited during 16-23 July 2000. There I participated and presented a research paper in the XIX^th ISPRS Congress Amsterdam 2000, Amsterdam, The NETHERLANDS.

 The United States of America (USA), Washington, D.C. was visited during 19-26 April 2002. There I participated and presented a research paper in the XXII FIG 2002 International Congress, Washington, DC, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

 The France, Paris was visited during 13-17 April 2003. There I participated and presented a research paper in the FIG Working Week 2003 and 125^th Anniversary of FIG Congress, Paris, FRANCE.

 The Turkey, Istanbul was visited during 12-23 July 2004. There I participated and presented a research paper in the XX^th ISPRS Congress 2004, Istanbul, TURKEY.
