Jamia Community Centre (JCC) is a facility for the employees of Jamia Millia Islamia for organizing and hosting their occasions.  It also reaches out to the friends, relatives and neighbors of the Jamia fraternity.  The JCC was established in the year 1999 at the behest of the then Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, Lt. General M. A. Zaki, with a vision of providing a decent place for the celebrations within the means of Jamia employees. The creation of JCC fulfilled the long-felt desire of Jamia community.

JCC is furnished with two lawns, two huge halls, dressing rooms for bride and groom, bathrooms, office space and a kitchen, store and washroom with electricity and adequate water supply.  The JCC can be booked for various occasions on request by filling up the forms available at the office of JCC.  Forms are available online as well.  

The present Vice Chancellor, JMI, Professor Mushirul Hasan, considered it essential that facilities available at JCC be refreshed. Jamia Community Centre after renewal is now available for hosting occasions/celebrations. The rates for booking JCC differ for employees of Jamia and non employees. However the booking of external members (non employees) is also done only on the recommendation of Jamia employee working in the grade of section officer and above.
